Junior Sales Manager

We are looking for talented, dynamic people with fluent English, Russian or Turkish language skills to join our team as Junior Manager in Sales Department for physical agricultural commodities, located in Hamburg, Germany.

Our main activities include brokerage operations on the international markets for agricultural products. As a major player in the brokerage business, we serve diverse clients including international trading houses, first class exporters, such as producers of agricultural products, mainly from the Black Sea region (Russia, Ukraine) and destination importers from the Middle East and North Africa, Turkey, South Europe and Asia.

Responsibilities:
• Monitoring international grains markets
• Negotiating contracts including price, specification and delivery details with clients
• Trading on behalf of clients
• Visiting international suppliers
• Representing company at world’s trade fairs
• Creating and interpreting market reports
• Monitoring customer developments to determine focus of sales efforts
• Resolving customer complaints
• Investigating new business opportunities
Accquiring new business clients

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications / Experience
• Bachelor or Master Degree in International Trade, International Business Administration, Finance or Agriculture, Public relations and communications or related areas
• Good knowledge of Incoterms and agricultural commodity markets would be a distinct advantage
• Experience in the field of international/ regional sales
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
• Fluent in English and native Russian or Turkish language skills is a prerequisite

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively
• Confident negotiator able to ‘close the deal’
• Good attention to detail and ability to think strategically at the same time
• Versatile and flexible approach allowing to adapt to evolving situations
• Ability to build strong business partnerships both internally and externally
• Highly motivated to succeed and make individual decisions whilst remaining a team player
• Can-do and positive attitude when approaching new projects and challenges
• Highly self-motivated, result oriented and a well-developed sense of drive
