The Role
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, and supporting the Global HR Team we are looking for a strong HR professional who enjoys an operational role and who does not mind taking on the day to day administration that goes along with supporting a very busy HR department. You will be responsible for providing advice and guidance in ER and support recruitment across Germany, Switzerland and Austria as well as working closely with your HR colleagues on generic projects and initiatives. Operating as an HR Business Partner you will ensure that all HR policies and procedures are implemented in line with legislative and audit requirements in conjunction with global requirements.

Responsibilities
· Provide a professional service across all aspects of HR for the business
· Ensure legal compliance and manage local employee issues
· Provide employee relations, best practice and employment law advice to line managers, taking a proactive approach in ensuring that the company remains compliant with employment law at all times
· Implement and apply the processes and HR global strategy in the DACH area working with the business and HR Management to ensure the strategy is delivered to plan
· Build a close working relationship with the management team, and establish excellent working knowledge of the business
· Monitor and track immigration activity for the DACH area
· First point of contact for all day to day HR queries ensuring all queries are dealt with in line with relevant legislation and internal policies
· Manage the daily HR Administrative activities and act as first point of contact for incoming general enquiries to the department, responding as appropriate
· Work closely with US and EU HR team, recruitment, compensation and benefits to implement and administer programs
· Interface with Payroll Specialist on a monthly basis to ensure the payroll submission is accurate.
· Ensure new hires & leavers administration is carried out and provide external references as required
· Responsible for on-boarding project to ensure new hires are provided the appropriate information for a successful onboarding
· Updating and maintaining the HR Information System data (ADP)
· Work on the continuous improvement of processes and procedures related with the HR processes
· Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by line management

Requirements
· A minimum of 4 years HR experience gained within a similar environment
· Strong generalist HR experience is essential for this role, preferably from a retail or multi-discipline multi-site management environment
· Good working knowledge of German employment law and HR best practice
· Excellent people management skills
· HR qualified or degree in HR a preference or equivalent experience.
· Can deal discretely with critical & sensitive issues
· Can demonstrate working across a range of stakeholder groups across varying levels of the organization
· Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken and able to develop positive working relationships across all levels and functions
· Able and comfortable working in a developing, fluid and constantly changing company
· Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload and meet deadlines
· Great attention to detail
· German & English is a must and an additional European would be advantageous
