Human resources assistant or Internship in HR, Office job experience
If you ask me what I want to get with this letter, I then reply, I want an opportunity to refresh, resume and improve the skills obtained by studying the career of “Human resources administration technician” a couple of years ago, and of course gain the experience necessary to be competent enough now by working in a Human Resources department. The reason why I have not worked much in HR is because after graduate from the institute I started to travel not knowing by then that 3 years later I was going to be still travelling and on my own mostly all the time.
This of course has not being a waste of time even though it can seems as an eternal holidays for many. It actually gave me much more understanding and built an important knowledge in interpersonal relations, learned from a multicultural environment, and which at the same time opened my vision in the matters of find many different ways to do things and get useful information from others to solve problems in the right moment, being by myself or together with others traveler partners I have met on the way.
I have a natural leadership and a power of convincement and this can be reflected since my teenager age when I was the student's president of my high school for 2 consecutives years and as well in the many trips I have organized. I have participated as well in sport and outdoor activities all my life and played soccer regularly at high school, university and different teams after that. During my travels I also did volunteering in farms and in an aboriginal community in Australia and learned the English language being able to communicate now without a problem. My way of travel is interesting as well, because it has been conducted as a choice to do it just by word of mouth and websites that meets the requirements of both sides (the traveler and the local) to proof myself and now to others as well that my experience have developed a priceless knowledge about the importance of connections in this days (people, media, internet). There is a general line across situations no matter the circumstances and I might have finished University long time ago but I strongly believe that everything can be learned and the skills I have gained both in my travels and with my studies can be combined to get into a competent environment, as it is management of human resources.
I am originally from Chile so my mother language is Spanish, I have an Italian passport but I don not speak Italian and I have moved to Germany a few weeks ago with the intention as I said above of get into a professional development in Human resources but also to give a professional updating step in any area of administration.
Looking forward to settle down in a stable place after being moving for long time in different countries. I want to continue my studies here in Germany further on and even though German can be a difficult language to learn, it is also a new challenge for me.
Sincerely, Solange Herrera.
